Lindsay Lohan’s Jesus photo
A French magazine puts the actress on its cover in a Christlike pose. Is the picture calculated to offend?

Best opinion: Politics Daily, Right Celebrity, America
Just in time for Lent, a French fashion magazine is honoring the holiest 40 days in the Christian calendar with a cover photo of Lindsay Lohan posing as Jesus Christ. Purple magazine shows the starlet in a white dress and thorny crown, with arms outstretched in a Christ-like pose. Known for her sexual shenanigans and drug problems, Lohan isn’t exactly a model of piety. Are devout Christians right to feel offended?
This is a disgrace: “Talk about bad taste,” says Rachelle at Right Celebrity. The cover is “a terrible idea” and Lohan being photographed like this is “so beyond inappropriate.” While her “acting career is in the toilet,” Lohan may have found a way to “stay in the spotlight,” but it doesn’t say much for her Christian values.
“Lindsay Lohan’s Purple magazine crucifixion (photos)”
She IS a devout Christian: Lohan clearly holds Christ close to her heart, as evidenced by the oft-seen “large cross around her neck,” says David Gibson at Politics Daily. This photo could represent “a return to her roots since she was raised Roman Catholic.” But, admittedly, this is a “generous reading.”
“Lindsay Lohan makes Christians cross”
She only hurts herself: This is just a “naked (almost) grab for publicity” that “trades on images that are dear to Christians,” says James Martin in America Magazine. “Really, does Lindsay Lohan want to be compared to Jesus?” A close look at the two side-by-side reveals a “life lesson for Lindsay: Be careful who you imitate, lest you suffer by comparison.”
“Lindsay Lohan and Jesus”
how far is too far..???? I think we all have the right to do what we want.. but…On our final judgement day…. is when what we did will matter…. how we lived our life and who we lived it for.. money? fame?? ourselves or for God…
I was sitting in the doctors office and read in sports illustrated about this college football player… Tim Tebow… please support him and let him know we respect him for standing up for God.. yahoo or google tim tebow… join him on facebook and let CBS know that we approve of them letting Focus on the family air a pro life commercial during the superbowl and turned down a male dating site commercial from running…
I can hardly begin to explain the experience… the mountain climb had such and impact on me… here is what i wrote as i went up and came down the first climb during the day…
I am at the base of the mountain.. a gentleman yells up to others coming down. “What is the quickest and easiest way up..??? some like to take the quick lazy way out…
As i look up the mountain and see exacly how high and steep it is …. God said don’t look up.. look at what is right ahead of you! Don’t look at the problem.
You might stumble, trip and or fall… keep going
it might get tough but keep going.
Sometimes you have to stop and rest.
Sometimes you have to listen to others.
Sometimes you might have to follow others
Stop and rest… Keep going
Things might fall out from under you.
You might have to stop and take another direction.
Stop and take a breath, look around you.
things arent always as they seem.
he might ask you to go in a path that you are no sure about.. trust him.
Don’t grab onto dead things… (as i was slipping down… i grabbed a dead branch..to catch myself… it pulled out of the ground…I kept slipping!!!)
someone i passed as i was going up they were going down… said you have to watch your every step!!!
You will come across others that will get in the way and some that will help.
How Great is our God was being sung from the top as i was half way up.
SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO SHUT UP AND LISTEN!!!
The path is already paved for you.. it is up to us to take the right path..
Remember it’s dead! Don’t touch it!!!! ( on the way down.. i slipped and grabbed on another dead bush… i kept slipping!!!)
even once you reach your goal you might slip and stumble..
you will always run into people..
others might have to take longer.. they might have to take time and look and think on their way up..
Don’t believe everything you hear…
This is how a mountain climb can represent and be like our spiritual walk with God…AWSOME EXPERIENCE!!! pictures on facebook
